Ahanaf Tashin is a photographer and artist based in Queens, New York, by way of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Their work is shaped by a deep interest in the people and everyday encounters that define life in New York City. Ahanaf captures friends, family and strangers alike, using photographic storytelling and visual experimentation to explore reflection, relation, and compassion.

Their recent projects engage with immigration, queer identity, and the South Asian diaspora. Working across analog and digital formats, they specialize in darkroom printing (color and black and white) alongside contemporary digital practices.

They are currently pursuing a BFA in Photography and Imaging at Queens College

They welcome inquiries for collaborations, prints, or just to connect and say hi.
